The pandemic moved the rest of the team to remote and now I'm hiring remote and my team has me and two layers above me as remote-only
Remote won't work for all jobs, but should be an option for those that don't require physical access, even then hybrid :)
@downey I should say that I'm worried about lack of entry level openings in a remote job market
Tech companies especially seem to always want 3 to 5 years experience and won't consider options for people to get that first 3 years of experience :(
thank god, my employer DOES get remote work, in fact I'm a remote worker
They also payed me a trip to attend to a conference, in Rome with a morning of free time with my collegues, for a thing called "team building"
