GNOME 3.32 is due to be released this March, and the theme this cycle is π—£π—˜π—₯𝗙𝗒π—₯π— π—”π—‘π—–π—˜! Check out some of the upcoming optimizations being made GNOME Shell and Mutter:

@gnome Gnome definitely needed better performance. Nice to see improvements there! :-)

@gnome please don't use obscure unicode characters as fonts. It's not compatible with screenreaders and devices that don't have a compatible font installed. For anyone wondering, the obscured word is "performance".

Thanks @zalandocalrissian I couldn't see it. (Not even a screen reader, just a plain simple Android phone)

@gnome we're one of the best desktops when it comes to a11y, let's try and not ruin that work with our communication? πŸ™‚

@mathieu i read it in android as well, i copied the placeholder characters into a google search field, because google normalizes those characters to normal letters and returned search results for "Performance" ^^ @gnome
