so.. upstream mastodon for android got rid of the alt text viewers that expand when you click the ALT badge and replaced them with bottom sheets (that open when the ALT badge is pressed)... like the one that i implemented before the ALT badges were even a thing
i mean, fair, not blaming anyone, it's just funny how i implement something, upstream does it differently (i actually liked the expanding ALT badge thingies!), time passes and upstream re-implements it similar to how i initially did
@megalodon i think if they merged your code upstream then according to the mastodon foundation rules you could apply to get money from their fund, so they might end up coding the things themselves to avoid extra cost
