An overview of the terrain, where different types of camps (with shapes reminiscent of the insects they produce) are close to each other, and where different insects (crawling insects and winged insects) battle it out. A user interface with a mini-map is at the top right, and another control interface at the bottom left.

OpenSA is a partially libre (abandonware assets), multi-platform, solo/multi (local/online), real-time strategy game whose objective is to control the terrain with its insects (swarms of ants, beetles, spiders, scorpions or wasps). No resources, no population cap, players build their army and crush the others. It offers the original campaign fully recreated (100 missions + new ones) and benefits from the advances of the OpenRA engine (modern hardware support, editor, zoom, queued units, ...). Brilliant!
