Today is release day, because there were some much needed fixes for the current #Moshidon version, which should help in some crashes in the drafts menu and other miscellaneous things!
This one is still based on the old codebase, as I haven't finished the rewriting process just yet.

@project1enigma @moshidon Nightly already contains all the fixes. This is just releasing the fixes from nightly to stable (so we don't have bug reports about issues that have been fixed for months already :))
@FineFindus @moshidon Ah nice. Though recently I still had a hashtag completion crash.
@project1enigma @moshidon Yeah, the issue is still that neither me nor @moshidon is able to replicate that. Hopefully it'll just vanish with the rewrite :)
Also, to avoid any confusion, there will be a nightly release (since the build script can't differentiate between actual code changes and just releases), but it won't contain any code changes.

@FineFindus @moshidon (My latest crash log was produced only after many hashtag and mention completion actions, after adding text, a paste, a cn, the issue seems to be a bit random)
If you think it's worth investigating (rather than waiting for the new version to be complete which would be fine for me)

@KAM0F We are rewriting the app on top of a more up to date Mastodon Android, because we have a lot of legacy code and it's becoming a pain to maintain, so Java.
And yes, this release will be will be on fdroid soon!

By curiosity, any idea what might be causing https://github.com/LucasGGamerM/moshidon/issues/536 and if it could be fixed easily? It happens pretty often (a few times a day) for me, just trying to read the previous posts in a thread by clicking on a reply post, for example.
@skylark13 This is a really complicated issue, we hope the rewrite will make it magically go away, but we aren't sure.
