I didn't realize complementing the software but saying it runs poorly = whining. What an unprofessional reply. I think I'm done using kdenlive.

@JshKlsn @kdenlive @kde Nah ... Kdenlive is the best we can get for Linux. A mad comment by someone who runs the social media account doesn't make a difference for me. The devs do their best and I appreciate it. This does not mean that there are no issues in the real world.

The irony is that I was paying a monthly donation to Kdenlive, which I've since cancelled. I guess I was paying the wrong people to fix it.

I've purchased DaVinci Resolve Studio, which is also on Linux, and works better.

Their 3rd option was for me to "be patient", which is funny, considering people have been asking for full GPU acceleration for over 7 years.

Replying here just to clarify, I am one of the people that manages the Kdenlive account I was replying to a comment Dirk made and not to yours. On Mastodon when you reply to a comment it adds all people in that thread. I deleted it because it was supposed to be from my personal account and I mistakenly used the official one. I also can't see their comment from my instance for some reason so I couldn't reply to it afterwards.

I was telling Dirk to stop whining because every time we post some nice news they complain about the same thing.

This is a community project made by people on their free time so if you'd like to have a feature one can either help out or wait.

We are aware of what needs to be done and we are working on it as you can see it in our roadmap.
