Yet somehow countless folks still think we need to "give them the benefit of the doubt" and "wait and see".

We have seen more than enough abuse to exclude them. For nearly two decades.

@downey I think a lot of us non-admins just want to enjoy the ability to communicate with our friends on Threads. ActivityPub can be used by anyone. It's an open protocol, yet somehow a lot of people seek to make it open for everyone, just not for the people we don't agree with.

@dusnm That may be true. But even for those that values that easy communication more highly than human rights, the question remains does allowing that type of abuse into their network as a trade-off, meet their needs over time?

History has shown the damage that it has done.
