Current status of my train trip. Screenshot of KDE Itinerary taken on my One Plus 6 with Plasma Mobile on it.
@carlschwan@floss.social Ohh, I didn't know about this KDE app! Thanks :D
@matias I'm working on some better promotional content for it :) Sneak peak https://api.carlschwan.eu/for/travelers/
@carlschwan@floss.social This looks really nice! Great job :D
A couple of small English tweaks:
"Itinerary supports multi-travelers booking." > multi-traveler
"your data is not send to any servers" send > sent
"Itinerary let's you" > lets you
"add train trip manually" > a train trip / train trips
"if you have seat reservation" > a seat reservation
"which business is currently open" > businesses are currently open
"your train or bus depart or arrive on time" > departs and arrives
My French / German is far, far, FAR worse!
@Blort@social.tchncs.de @carlschwan@floss.social Ich parle auch nicht gut Francais
@carlschwan Nice!!! Is the One Plus 6 with Plasma-mobile daily drivable? To me it means reliable calls, sms and camera... And decent battery life... I'm very curious!
@dflag84 Sadly, it's not. The camera is not working, the reliability of calls and SMS is not always the best and the battery life while mostly okay-ish could be better.
Gnome mobile might be a bit more ready but still, I wouldn't recommend to buy one unless you want to contribute to the development of it.
@dflag84 It might sound overly negative, but unlike a company that sells Linux phones for 2000€, I don't want casual users to buy something that will stay in their drawer and generate more e-waste.
@carlschwan I totally understand. I have a PinePhone Pro, I was just curious to know if the OnePlus 6 would be a better experience. I'm not a developer yet (working on it) but I'm testing and sending feedback. I want Linux on phone to become a big thing. I also have a Librem 5 just to support the idea.
