Xfce 4.20 is now available. On the surface (at least with the tour), it looks like little has changed beyond the file manager and the addition of experimental Wayland support.

Longtime Xfce users will love it. Folks on the outside looking in won't see any reason to switch. Xubuntu users will at least benefit from the collection of bug fixes!
This stability is what many Xfce users want. It doesn't change much over time, and their system continues working as they expect it should.
But it's hard to compare the two years of Xfce development with one of the weekly updates from GNOME or KDE:
