#callingOut to my fellow fedizens:
Does anyone know where to find some decent, usefule SVG title screens for video creation? For the "intro screen"?
Ideally public domain, but must allow for use with publicly shared videos. And I don't want a © mark on the opening picture, obviously.
To give you an idea of the intended use, here's the link to my travel channel https://libre.video/video-channels/travel_izzy and my scuba channel https://libre.video/video-channels/scuba_izzy New videos in the make for the former currently…
(I suck at graphics design, so if anyone could share a few interesting title screens with me I'd really appreciate it)
Thanks to all your hints on where to look for! I still found no SVG collection – but found some public domain "screenshots" from intro screens. So I picked a simple one of those, and rebuilt the "lower third" shown there as SVG. As said, I'm no graphics designer, so the simple results took me quite some time – but I'm satisfied by them.
The first 2 videos using them are up now, both from Spain, more to come: https://libre.video/video-channels/travel_izzy/videos Hope you enjoy them!
@IzzyOnDroid Depending on what you need, publicdomainvectors.org might have good starting points. If you don't insist on a CC license, freepik.com may also work.
@vatbub Thanks, will check out the former (update: nothing suitable found there, though ). The latter has the issue that it requires to be mentioned itself on the very same (i.e. each "title image" would have to mention it was taken from there), which I don't like. No problem with giving credits, but I usually do that in the … well, credits screen (at the end of the clip).
