Finally took some time to polish and publish Eloquent.
It's a proofreading assistant, that works fully offline; powered by LanguageTool.
@sonny Really cool!
@sonny I just found about it on flathub, thank you so much!!!, this is so useful :DD (and also pretty cute), you are awesome
@linuxphoneapps I'm afraid suggestions are broken on mobile https://github.com/sonnyp/Eloquent/issues/4
@sonny Ran into that too after initial excitement. A lot of wild tapping sometimes works.
Even without suggestions it's still helpful - it's not like we have much else with a similar feature set on Linux that's mobile friendly.
@KekunPlazas @sonny awesome was thinking about building this exact app, but ended up using languagetool inside the browser
@sonny This looks sick! Getting it now :)
@sonny Amazing app! The LangTool abilities compares to Grammarly is slightly below average, but it has added value. Any chance for a GTK/GNOME-wide integration with text fields?
@okias AFAIK GTK does not have an API for this
@sonny
I'll be so using this
@sonny Works great, well done!
Any chance for adding words to user's dictionary in future releases?
@LukaszHorodecki good idea, can you file a suggestion https://github.com/sonnyp/Eloquent/issues ?
@sonny I'm sorry, I missed your message. I'm glad you liked my idea.
@sonny Gosh I love libadwaita apps
