@rgggn Yes I'm testing that one now, but I still have the following issues:
- can't export from libreFM, so I'm afraid that one is dead
- I want to connect other music clients besides Spotify ro ListenBrainz. I'm using Rhythmbox (on Linux).
- I see no RSS feed for my listening stats on ListenBrainz
"- can't export from libreFM, so I'm afraid that one is dead"
It might be feasible to get a dump from librefm in a format similar to the lastfm exporter. It would also be worth reaching out to the ListenBrainz team about this.
"- I want to connect other music clients besides Spotify ro ListenBrainz. I'm using Rhythmbox (on Linux). "
Same problem! I'm still looking for a GNU/Linux audio player that can scrobble to all 3 systems. On Android, Simple Last.fm Scrobbler does it really well. The WebScrobbler Firefox extension does it too.
"- I see no RSS feed for my listening stats on ListenBrainz"
It would be worth raising a ticket.
Anyways, my take on this is that ListenBrainz is a fun project but it's going to take a while before it's fully functional.
@rgggn Yes I will do, thanks.
@rgggn So how you use the Simple Last.fm scrobbler with ListenBrainz?
@rgggn Thanks! Trying out… now!
@rgggn Works great! I already forget about Lollypop. Let me see if it can replace Rhythmbox.
So I stay with Rhythmbox. More light-weight, able to edit meta-data, uses not Google for album covers, etc
Thanks for your help! Really appreciated.
@jeroenpraat thanks for sharing!
@rgggn LibreFM isn't maintained really I'm afraid. Last commit is from two year old. This is on the site when you click 'data export':
'Export my data
We're working on export features, but Libre.fm isn't going anywhere. Please talk to @mattl if you have questions.'
Oh wait I see @mattl is on the fediverse.
@jeroenpraat Ah! I never bothered clicking on export 😁 Well that sucks 😕
