@BartV No, this is no investment, the German fund is for the public benefit.
@BartV @omgubuntu It's not a donation, we're commissioning specific work. It's an investment in the open source technology/project, the return is improvements that are available to all.
@sovtechfund Thanks for clarifying that! I still feel the correct word choice here would have been 'grant' instead of 'investment' - it would have helped make your communication more clear.
