Lou Lüeder @moshidon I can't wait and at the same time I know first hand what an exhausting process it is. So take the time you need. The current stable version is still one of the best Mastodon client for Android.
@moshidon what has been the most time consuming part?
@Aurimas both @megalodon and I made too many changes to core components, and interlinking the HomeTabFragment with everything else has been the most complicated, as it depends *a lot* on all the custom shenanigans we have made over the course of 2 years to work properly. So I have been taking my time to rewrite every part it depends on with clear labels and comments, so that when time comes to rebase, things actually aren't a nightmare
@moshidon @megalodon got it, so it was largely on how the fork was moving along

@moshidon anything that can be done to help move things along? i got curious and built/tested the rewrite branch earlier, it's looking promising and i'd be happy to help with what's missing
@esm Well, the rewrite branch is still missing a whole lot of chances (chances which arent compileable, which is why I havent commited them yet), so once I get them compiling I will make a list of missing stuff in case someone wants to help!
