What's the best definition of uptime or availability?
I'm trying to crowd source other's thoughts in the space and looking for more ideas.
@mbbroberg I think the only reasonable definition is "time you are meeting your SLOs".
@moshez so if there’s no SLO, is uptime 100% or 0% 
@mbbroberg I would say "meaningless", like trying to define what value 0/0 is.
If you don't have SLO, you can't meaningfully talk about uptime.
@mbbroberg I'll note that "talking about uptime" is a pretty high-rung on the typical SRE ladder.
Observability is a necessary requirement, of course. Alerting and runbooks are not a logical necessity, but usually come before that. So is a "shift left"-ish process, focusing on fully automated CI and mostly-automated CD.
