🎐🎐 Geary 40 has been released! 🎐🎐

This new feature release features substantial interfaces updates to support half-screen and phone displays, search engine updates, and many interface, performance, translation and server compatibility updates and fixes.

Available to download from Flathub right now, and your favourite distribution as it gets packaged.

As usual, Geary 40 is the product of a large number of contributions from the community, including a number of people contributing improvements for the first time.

See the NEWS file for the complete list:

Finally, the Geary Privacy Policy has been published, describes how Geary collects, uses, transmits and stores personal information.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on the draft.

@geary it looks GORGEOUS, it looks substantially better.

Now hoping for a GTK4 version soon.

@lorabe Thanks!

The GTK4 port is going to be a high priority, just waiting for all dependent libs (WebKitGTK primarily) to also ported to GTK4.

@geary great update again, the responsiveness is nice

@geary Yesssss, being able to half-tile is a big improvement for me.

@geary I've been using web frontends for mail for the past years, but the 40 release made me try out geary. I'm impressed, liking it lots so far!
