- there is a new article on how to replace most common apps with open source versions
- Fossify Paint was added
- we recommend to switch from Mull to Fennec (as Mull has stopped development)
- OpenTracks is now available as reproducible and non-reproducible variant

F-Droid

@mistersixt From our analysis, the F-Droid repo is not currently affected by that issue. We're currently looking into it.

@kuketzblog
Do I as a noob understand the matter at hand correct, it's about a serious vulnerability of some kind in verification and integrity of code?🤔
@fdroidorg @mistersixt

I as Noob read it as if a hostile developer can circumvent some tests and smuggle stuff by that way inside an app.
(if no one checks the code manually, which is likely)

So it isn't more dangerous then if you download an apk from any developer directly. Even less so.

(Is it me or is that github extreamly hostile worded, do they want to help an underfunded volunteer project, or throw dirt?)

@fdroidorg @mistersixt so you don't care about others using your software?
