The F-droid app is undergoing major changes: Faster and smaller updates thanks to a new repository format.
For this, we needed to change the entire app database. To ensure that there are no regression we need your help: Please install the latest alpha version of F-Droid 1.16 and report anything unusual.
@fdroidorg Where to get it? Can I easily switch back and forth from within FDroid?
@laubblaeser @fdroidorg You should be able to install it via the F-Droid app. Just go to the entry of the regular F-Droid app and open the versions selector on the very bottom.

@fdroidorg Just installed the last alpha4. The app vulnerability alert is a really nice feature!
@fdroidorg I had this wreid UI issue after my screen turned off and I turned it back on while downloading an update

I was a bit surprised by the vulnerability insert on the update tab. It took me a while to find the list of applications to update.
Maybe it could be collapsed by default like the list of updated applications.

@fdroidorg alpha4 on lineageOS 18.1 with privileged extension. Many auto updates work. But osmand+ fails.

@fdroidorg I just switched to the alpha and the updating felt a lot faster. No issues so far.
I have no problems with the 1.16-alpha4.

Hello! Please remove Odysee from F-droid. The creator is a libertarian and supports "free speech". The site is full of videos promoting disinformation, conspiracy theories like Qanon and stolen elections. It is also full of dangerous right wing and Russian propaganda.
