@travisfw @fdroidorg The paper is also talking about releasing the source as well as the apk files. I think they mainly want to build the pipeline systems that handle these things for every release. So the funding would probably only go towards setting up the build pipeline, not directly to F-Droid. But this is just my speculation.

Either way, public recognition by the #EU will benefit #FDroid in the long run, at least a little.
