Had my first go #3Dprinting TPU filament to make this flexible strip to attach a clarinet to a neck strap. My machine has a Bowden tube so it took a while to work out suitable temperature to make it work.
@eskibrew The harder tpus pring pretty well on bowden, it is when you get in to the squishy tpus like 60d, 40d and 60a where you will have some choice words.
@OttersDangerDen this one doesn't seem to have a number code on it, it's just Overture TPU. I tried printing with it again yesterday and had a right pain! - I seemed to do better once I set retract to zero though.
@eskibrew overture says 95a which is between 60d and 40d its pretty hard. Is this stuff stretchy at all? The stuff i have here that i think falls in that hardness is not stretchy.
@OttersDangerDen ah that's interesting - it's flexible but I would not say particularly stretchy although it's the only TPU I have tried so I don't have anything to compare it against really.
@eskibrew Okay, the 40d that I have is like a rubber band.
@eskibrew nearly destroyed my printer using flexible filament
@Workshopshed oh, how come?
@eskibrew got all jammed up
