Mastodon latency seems to be pretty high?
@yungyuc Hmm. Can you be more specific about what you're seeing? (Or not seeing?)
@downey it could be an issue with the mast iOS app. I was expecting 10-100 ms latency when refreshing the 'timeline' (not sure about the right term here), but I takes 1-5 seconds to load/refresh.
Second day on mastodon. I'll try it more.

@yungyuc Let me know! If you want to compare the app's performance, you could compare it with using the https://floss.social web interface on your phone's browser and the same network.
@downey so far the web UI seems to be the most smooth one!
