Let me share with you. Today's and yesterday's learning activities happened in my classroom: practicing @gnome and @kde@mastodon.technology, doing assignments with @libreoffice and practice basic /#Linux commands. Total distance between us is about 2000 km.

Student learns to run applications. This is Inkscape (https://inkscape.org) he runs on Ubuntu.
Student learns to use KDE the user interface, Telegram the classroom, and LibreOffice the document editor to submit his assignment. In my classroom, Open Document Format is mandatory and Microsoft's OOXML is forbidden.
Student learns to practice Terminal's command lines from the basics. Here he learns the trio of navigation, cd - pwd - ls. He says using Kubuntu is very convenient to learn like this.
Student learns to use GNOME. The proprietary software depicted in the picture is not part of my classroom but his own decision before meeting me. In my course, proprietary software is forbidden and free software is mandatory.
