I'd like of someone could test 3.0.4 for me

In regard to this issue

I'd like someone to test

(help 'car)

on guile 3.0.4

If the behaviour is the same as with Guile 3.0.1 (the one I have) then I think this is enough to open a bug on the Guile bug tracker

I checked myself

this behaviour is in the current master too and it's different from the behaviour in 2.x

@abbienormal Seems I'm on 3.0.2 and I get "No documentation found for car"

@abbienormal Guile 3.0.4 is in Debian Sid which is a `docker run --rm -i -t debian:sid bash` away.

scheme@(guile-user)> (help 'car)
No documentation found for car
scheme@(guile-user)> (help car)
No documentation found for:
(guile): car
scheme@(guile-user)>

@abbienormal I don't really see how it's better, but alright. Is there anything special you need to do to have documentation for the built-in stuff? I've installed guile-3.0-doc, but that didn't help.

@wasamasa

I'm just concerned about the Guie onboarding experience

Put yourself in the shoes of a beginner, not only in Guile but in computing in general

The text provided by the "help" procedure mentions something that's not there ?

@wasamasa

it's better because it's conformant to the text, it doesn't contradicts it (so it seenms)

In that it looks for documentation

In master, it doesn't
