While I prefer narrow definitions of terms, the gate keeping due to giving different terms different importance is fucking horrid.

@alcinnz calling Verilog or VHDL programming probably feels okay to many gatekeepers, but is a useless grouping of skills that are wildly different.
Similar to 'engineer', 'programing' means so many different things that as unqualified term it means so little.
