@yuliyan @shiftphones No, but you can unlock it via fastlane. You can even find the fitting boot-image in their forum, to get it Magisk-patched and fastboot-flashed if you like

@yuliyan @shiftphones Who is encouraged? If you know where to find it, you can do it. Nobody says you must/should. If you don't have the need, you certainly should not. But if you have the need, you have the freedom.

Remember: Cars are VERY unsafe compared to that. You can drive your car against a tree, or off a cliff – there's no preventing measure built into it. So why … Right. Nobody says you have to (bad comparison, I know – but exaggeration often helps understanding I've heard)

@IzzyOnDroid You are right. I am too. I react like this because it happens that nontechies are lured into the privacy degoogleisms and start magisking around without knowing the implications AND with the belief that they are securing their devices. Which they are definitely not. This is rarely pointed out, imo.
