During my first thru-hike next month, I plan to devote some of each morning to work, and some of the evening to a trail journal. And so the big question is: which laptop do I bring?

I was a bit surprised to see the @frameworkcomputer 13 clocking in slightly lighter than my M1 MacBook Pro! Every ounce counts, but so does battery life.

If the Framework 13 (running @fedora) can match the MacBook's battery life, it's coming along!

Any battery tips besides stuff like TLP or AutoCPU-Freq?

@AdamBishop @frameworkcomputer That's a GREAT point! Sadly, that means more weight. I do have a lightweight solar panel that can trickle charge it while I'm hiking :D
